# Home Improvement Cast Then and Now: Where Are They Now?

Remember Home Improvement? The popular 90s sitcom brought laughter into millions of homes with Tim Taylor's funny experiments, family problems, and his famous Tool Time show. The series became a favorite for viewers who enjoyed its mix of comedy and family life.

The show originally aired from 1991 to 1999, and fans still remember its unforgettable cast. But where are the stars today? Let's take a look at what happened to the actors after the show ended.

Tim Allen as Tim Taylor

Tim Allen played Tim Taylor, a family man who loved tools, machines, and fixing things—even when his projects went wrong. After Home Improvement, Allen continued his successful acting career with movies like The Santa Clause and Toy Story, where he voiced Buzz Lightyear.

He also returned to television in Last Man Standing. Tim Allen remains one of the most recognizable comedy stars from the 90s.

Patricia Richardson as Jill Taylor

Patricia Richardson played Jill Taylor, Tim's loving but sometimes frustrated wife. She was the voice of reason in the Taylor household and often had to deal with Tim's crazy ideas.

After the sitcom ended, Richardson continued working in television and appeared in several movies and TV projects. Her performance as Jill remains one of the most memorable parts of the series.

Richard Karn as Al Borland

Richard Karn played Al Borland, Tim's calm and knowledgeable co-host on Tool Time. His flannel shirts and friendly personality made him a fan favorite.

After Home Improvement, Karn continued appearing in television shows and movies. He also became known for hosting the game show Family Feud and later appeared in other television projects.

Earl Hindman as Wilson Wilson Jr.

Earl Hindman played Wilson, the mysterious neighbor who was famous for giving Tim advice while keeping the lower half of his face hidden behind the fence.

Hindman continued acting after the show, but Wilson remained his best-known role. Sadly, he passed away in December 2003. Fans still remember him as the wise neighbor who always had something meaningful to say.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Randy Taylor

Jonathan Taylor Thomas played Randy Taylor, the middle son of the Taylor family. During the 90s, he became a popular teen star and also voiced young Simba in Disney's The Lion King.

After leaving Home Improvement, Thomas focused more on his education and stepped away from regular acting. He has made occasional appearances in television projects, but he has largely kept his private life away from the spotlight.

Zachery Ty Bryan as Brad Taylor

Zachery Ty Bryan played Brad Taylor, the oldest Taylor son. His character was often involved in school, sports, friendships, and teenage adventures.

After the sitcom ended, Bryan continued acting in films and television. He also explored work behind the camera and other business interests.

Taran Noah Smith as Mark Taylor

Taran Noah Smith played Mark Taylor, the youngest son who gradually grew up throughout the series. Fans remember watching him change from a little boy into a teenager.

After Home Improvement, Smith stepped away from acting and pursued other interests outside Hollywood. Unlike many former child stars, he chose a quieter path away from regular television appearances.

Pamela Anderson and Debbe Dunning

Pamela Anderson appeared as Lisa, the original Tool Time assistant, during the early seasons. She later became internationally famous through Baywatch and other television and film projects.

Debbe Dunning joined the show as Heidi Keppert, another Tool Time assistant. She continued acting and appeared in several television projects after the sitcom ended.

Home Improvement may have ended in 1999, but its humor and memorable characters are still loved by fans. From Tim Taylor's crazy inventions to Wilson's thoughtful advice, the show gave viewers plenty of moments to remember.

The cast members have followed different paths over the years, but their work on this classic 90s sitcom continues to bring back memories for longtime fans.
